Flexible work arrangements can differ between divisions in the firm, but generally there are options to work from home occasionally & managers are understanding of appointments etc. and are able to work hours around things. Most people work the set hours, and from the office.
Work hours are 8:45 am to 5:15 pm with an hour for lunch break. Company has a policy for hybrid working arrangements but need to work for a specific tenure for that, which I haven't served obviously.
My work hours are pretty standard (8:45am - 5:15pm). I pretty much work these hours plus an extra bit here and there if necessary (in tax season maybe a couple more hours a week). I believe that some members in the team have arranged alternative hours for some days in the week (eg. 7:45am - 4:15pm), however this option hasn't been discussed with the team (me included). If we have an appointment / sick they allow us to work from home no problem.
After completing one year with the company, employees are generally allowed to work from home one day a week. Additionally, if there are urgent appointments or personal circumstances, the company is open to accommodating flexible working arrangements. In such cases, clear communication with your line manager is essential to make the necessary adjustments. This flexibility reflects the organization's understanding of employees' needs and its effort to support a healthy work-life balance.
