Vert structed career progression. First two years as a graduate are set, 99% of graduates will make professional at end of 2nd year.

Yes they provide yearly appraisals, where you get ranked which likely comes with a pay rise. Every year we have goals, if you continuously hit your goals is how a promotion is usually rewarded
We have a decent understanding of what the levels are within the company and what it takes for a person to succeed in those roles, however i do feel there is some operating beyond your role (depending on the individual), and that person may not necessarily be getting compensated how they should. the company does provide some behavioural guidance's for each employee level, but not as much on a technical level.
