There is definitely room to work your way up the chain within your work group area. You just need to show that you have the qualifications to be able to undertake the role.
I am aware there are a lot of job opportunities within ASC. I hope to eventually become a Project Manager.
There are many oppotunites to climb the ranks or try something completely new. Some positions do require you going back to study to be considered though.
We are on permanent contracts, so we are most likely guaranteed a job after the graduate program. With the expanding scope of work and aging workforce, there should be plenty of opportunities for career progression and promotion.
