The Melbourne office is a warm and welcoming space. Situated at tree level, it offers views of greenery through the windows, complemented by indoor plants throughout the office. The walls are painted in Ascent's signature colors, featuring vibrant shades of orange and blue, which contribute to a lively yet comfortable atmosphere that I genuinely enjoy working in. The dress code in the office ranges from casual to business casual, depending on personal preference, as we are not typically client-facing while on site. However, when engaging with clients, attire is expected to be business casual to business formal, depending on the context.
Ascent Queensland does not currently have an office, and I will either work from home or from the client's office. I have visited Ascents office in Melbourne and think that it is a very fun and inviting space.
The Canberra Office is in a UNSW operated building, giving us access to a range of UNSW facilities such as meeting rooms and kitchen. The building is host to a number of other defence and cyber security related businesses and so some shared space is required. The dress code is relaxed; standard office attire or company branded polos. The dress code expectations are slightly higher when client facing or attending events / expos.
