I feel that there is a clear and straight forward path for promotion based on achievements and goal setting.
To move up in the ranks, KPIs must be met as well as self-development. From what it looks like, experience also comes heavily into play but i have not really had the opportunity to pursue these yet.
As an undergraduate, it feels like there is a barrier blocking formal promotion. However, the experiences and lessons I've learned will certainly contribute to my career progression and ability to be an effect asset in the engineering field.
Opportunities to get higher salaries not too hard but getting more work and projects seems harder as it filters through to specific people.
