I still have a lot to learn and get experienced with the work.
Promotion can be a little slow at first within the company as there is a strict graduate timeline. This is good in the sense that no one is above anyone else at this graduate level. However, there is still a long wait involved before being promoted to the next level above graduate. There are many opportunities to move around in the company also into related areas, such as moving from site team to the tender team or the commercial team, if available. Being proactive will show that you are interested in more opportunities, and you will make a beneficial name for yourself.
After I do my 18 months and a graduate, I will hopefully be presented with a new opportunity to further my development as a communications advisor, which is the next level above a communications graduate. But other positions may open as well.
