My manager was genuinely supportive of my interests and long-term growth, which i really appreciated. Early on, though, i struggled with unclear expectations and mixed messages between hr and my manager, and it wasnt made clear what i was expected to achieve. Communication and organisation at the start could've been better, and i had to push a bit to figure out what was happening and navigate things on my own. Things improved over time, but those initial challenges made the transition into the program quite difficult.
