I think there is a conscious effort when it comes to diversity, especially gender diversity. However, as the ranks move up, diversity decreases. There is also very little cultural diversity higher in the ranks
There are great policies, initiatives, events and practices within the company that advocate for inclusivity and encourage people to feel safe and happy to come to work.
Cochlear is progressively becoming much more diverse and inclusive and there are obvious initiatives to improve in this area.
