I have been able to tasks that i consider to have meaningful impact not only to science but also on socio-economic aspects of research. i am fortunate that at csiro a large majority of the work is driven by a motivation to use science as a tool to support a better tomorrow so there is a higher likelihood that tasks are meaningful. there is some administration tasks such as receipts, privacy training and timesheets that is not as meaningful but it is a requirement for the integrity of the organisation.
Day to day activities fairly limited with focus on study leave
I do research which aligns with my values and to me is some of the most important work out there. this is fulfilling and means that i can work passionately towards positive outcomes.
