The interview panel was welcoming, and the questions were thought provoking - outside of the usual behavioural questions.
The preparation to get into the interview round was hard and long, the interview criteria was not super difficult to do but for most of us it is our first job so it was all new. I also did not hear about getting the job until December when i had applied in March/April and did my interview in May of that same year.
There was a presentation needing to be prepared in addition to other interview questions. The presentation pushed me to research the Department prior to the interview/role.
Application including selection criteria, psychometric testing, panel interview, entered into pool, appointed to graduate position.
The interview process was inviting, particularly by the panellists who were very understanding and personable. The interview process was positive, with the allowance to select from an array of time slots being very beneficial with regard to my circumstances/commitments. The assessments asked prior to the interview, although creating nerves, really allowed me to shine and showcase my abilities, experience and passion for Justice and prepare my answers in a way to reflect technical skills otherwise difficult to convey.
