Bonuses were confusing, only because it was a formula and seemed complicated in how it was calculated. But, for a graduate position I am happy with my salary.
Good bonuses
The pay package is very satisfying at Diageo, but in the graduate program you do commit to a capped salary progression for 3 years so by your 3rd year you do feel under compensated for the work you're doing. That being said, the experience, training, and development you get through the program are unbelievably good so I am happy with the trade off.
It doesn't feel very competitive - but as an intern I'm not there for the pay, but for my education.
I would say the pay is about average for an intern, but given my experience and other skills I didn't feel these were taken into account
