Our company has a very good work culture in terms of collaboration and team work. We are encouraged to work in cross-functional teams and "break down silos" between our SBUs, because this helps foster innovation. Everyone was super helpful when I started and each time I have moved roles people are always open to questions. We have a pretty flat hierarchy and the senior managers are very approachable.
Everyone is very friendly and is always happy to help each other out. There is strong socialisation between colleagues and teamwork both in teams and between members of different teams. The hierarchical structure is classified by scientists, direct managers, technical managers and technology director. As such, some individuals have expressed they feel there is little room for career development. Most managers are very relaxed when it comes to work hours and working from home, but others expect overtime during busier periods and offer no flexibility in regard to working from home.
