My managers are very accessible and easy to talk to which is great, the only thing is they can sometimes be very busy and hard to get a hold of. They are good at giving praise and recognition but could take more time to give constructive feedback and work on development plans.
Some managers have been better than others. Most managers are very accessible and good mentors. Some, have very poor communication and can forget to communicate important information. Due to performance reviews, feedback is regularly delivered. And there are many ways that chemists can be recognised for their work.
They are absolutely fantastic, cannot fault anything always willing to help myself learn and develop.
I am very satisfied with my team leader but not my manager. Its hard to get priorities out if my manager and unequally distributes work load
