I've completed the Microsoft az-900 and have had any training costs paid for but sometimes find it hard to complete.
Graduate program has numerous opportunities including the engineers Australia graduate program, and additional learning opportunities (courses, seminars).
I think there could have been more support here. We are put through a professional development course however its for engineers and a majority of the graduate cohort are not engineers. I feel there could be much better options out there for a program like this. A mentor was offered at the start however I feel that the suitability of a mentor should be more closely looked at. For example, people who have already been through the graduate program or young and have similar skills / interests to the new graduates to form a relationship with. there is a very good study assistance program that anyone can apply for to have the organisation fund part of a course which is great
Highly dependent on rotation. There are lots of opportunities, but they are not necessarily evenly shared.
I've picked up a number of skills through the business both formally and informally with skills picked up ranging from linux admin skills to software development and cyber security best practice. These tend to be tailored on a per person basis with platforms like linked in learning and pluralsight being available for more general use but certifications are still available and highly encouraged to be pursued
