There are internal training sessions that provide insight on using and engineering Honeywell products that are sold to the customer. However there is a lot of segregation of duties between teams which becomes a limiting factor when an employee wants to learn/get trained on a new product or field of expertise.
Sometimes it is just a matter of being thrown in the deep end in order to learn. But I always feel supported. There is a lot of onboarding training to complete. Role specific training was very technical, which could be more interactive as it can be quite long and complicated. I meet with my manager once per fortnight to discuss the work I have been up to and to take on feedback he has for me. There is no official mentoring program but there are many other workers around who are very open to being asked questions and advice.
Lot of internal training modules and virtual classrooms, I attended an interstate in person training for a hands-on experience. Mentorship is quite prominent, with older colleagues very willing to teach you and coach. As long as you want to learn, people are willing to teach
