Mainfreight's culture is great, being a team oriented environment with plenty of support around you. Most sites have many friend groups that tend to socialise outside of work, making during hours work feel much nicer.
It can be confusing when Mainfreight doesn't adhere to typical industry job titles, and has a culture of "no roles" especially when leadership are not clear about team member's roles and responsibilities. I believe this is in a bid to make team members in operations more flexible, but it can be confusing in practice. Lunchrooms and office rooms are open which encourages socialising.
I would say pretty much everyone is great to work with, there are others who aren't as cooperative and friendly as others but that's full time work right? As a whole, we are pretty tightly knit.
Friendly, caring, understanding, flexible. Most of the time I would rather work from the office than home.
Culture is great. I am friends with people that I work with outside of work and often do catchups out for dinner and at bars and pubs. The company culture is excellent.
