There are many training opportunities that you are required to do or need to ask for, however with the right guidance most of these will be a part of your growth journey.
At the start it was a bit blurry about what i was hired to do, and i didnt have much direction. It was more like oh lets show him this and that and i couldnt keep up. Since 2025 however, much better and more structured. Loved the BIP program, getting to work with and meet other grads from all over Australia. Meeting the General Managers was a highlight too.
Everyone is always happy to answer questions. Learning is unstructured but highly supportive. There have been a few sink or swim moments but only when it was deemed I was capable enough.
Training and development are limited as our team is small and data is still a new concept in society, though we have made do of what we have. My boss trains me a lot on the business side of company and a coworker shows me more analytics-based skills and tips that I can use to build tools and dashboards. At the same time, I do a lot of self-learning myself.
