Mars participates in a few CSR projects but are not as big of a focus as they are at other companies i have seen. Mars Chocolate has a close tie to Ballart (as it is the location of their chocolate factory) so they aim to have a close community connection with the city of Ballart. Mars sponsors the Ballarat stadium and partners with the Western bulldogs often handing out free chocolate and putting on quarter time activations during the ALF match
Through lots of trainings and the instalment of the 5 principles, there is a clear effort by the business to show CSR.
