There seems to be a strong focus on diversity within HR but less so elsewhere in the business. IT is quite diverse. The CXO level is only diverse in terms of gender (not racial, etc.).
transparent with hiring equal numbers from different genders. Promoting an inclusive culture through committees that champion diversity events.
Newmont fosters a diverse workplace and does not stand for any bullying or discrimination based on identity. The management team supports inclusion through its core values, including females in the workplace, people of colour, aboriginals and LGBTI+ identities. However, some teams do not have the same culture of inclusion as others, but I believe I am lucky in having a supportive team. People have an equal opportunity to progress their careers regardless of their identities and it feels like diversity is represented at all levels of the company (from graduates and apprentices through to management), without feeling like they are trying to meet diversity quotas.
