My role as a graduate software developer involves working closely with my team's business analysts. We work with different business units to understand the process that requires improvement, identify automation opportunities, and I am tasked with implementing these to improve their process.
My role here at Queensland Health is that of a graduate Business Analyst, I primarily work on ensuring the HHS in their capacity expansion has the required ICT to run and can implement ieMR (Integrated Electronic Medical Record). I work alongside a team of extremely competent Business Analysts and Project Officers, Project Managers and Project Directors collaboratively to reach a common goal. My day to day varies, but a lot of my time is spent managing the artifacts I am in charge of.
