There seems to be lots of opportunities for career progression and promotion. There is lots of interesting work going on and flexibility to work in different areas of the company. There is also a clear path for interns to progress through a graduate program and become a full time engineer.
Within the time of completing the 3 month summer internship we were told about the Graduate program and how the company goes about selecting their graduates for the following year. Understanding what is next in a transparent way and knowing their is support and guidance over a 2 year period as a graduate was reassuring. It made me excited about a future possibility with the company.
RDA's breadth in Engineering provides a variety of opportunities for a student or graduate engineer. In the internship we were provided with Buddies and Mentors, and were encouraged to get guidance to reach our goals. Performance in the internship may lead to Graduate Program opportunities.
There are multiple raises throughout the 2 year graduate program. Once completed, it appears there are some possible promotional pathways set out for you.
I'm not aware of any promotion opportunities as a student but this is to be expected.
