Given that stockland has a smaller technology team compared to other employees (our focus is on property development and project management teams), you actually get the opportunity to learn more. The first 1-2 weeks is just workplace training, however you are quickly assigned project work and there is always a senior member reviewing your tasks. These sessions are usually 30-60 minutes and they give you tips on how to optimise your code or suggest alternative approaches for more efficient task completion.
