I'm still in the process of learning and developing myself here at tn, and i’m really enjoying the journey so far. As i continue to grow, i’d love to have a clearer career progression within the company like what the next steps look like, how performance is measured, and what kind of training or development opportunities are available. That kind of structure would really help me stay focused and motivated, and make sure i’m heading in the right direction.
As a company there are many career growth opportunities available. In terms of economics, i feel as though career opportunities are limited due to the constant outsource of economic work
As i've only been here for 5 months, i haven't directly been offered a promotion but i do have an understanding of how these things work within my company based on what i've been told by others. I know graduates are often offered permanent positions before finishing the graduate program, and in that sense there is high job security. I am not too sure however about the promotion avenues for permanent employees, as i've only encountered people being promoted when someone else leaves and a position is vacant. In that sense, and especially non-leadership roles, i think there may be inertia where people stay in the same role for a long time. A lot of graduates (and also permanent employees) discuss (and actually do) leaving the company to join other competitors who offer much higher remuneration for the same or less work. From that observation i think that the company excels in the perks provided to graduates (although there are some competitors who provide even more) but for permanent roles, competitors might have the upper hand in providing more perks and benefits.
Not sure how it works
