Ability to work remote if not near a major office. work from home program, two days are work from home and three days in office. push to have people in the office. employer pushing for 8am5pm work hours with very limited flexibility outside of that time.
The employer has a 3 days in, 2 days wfh policy at present. there are, however, avenues to get an exemption to this rule if necessary. it is typically expected that you complete an 8 hour work day between the hours of 7am and 6pm, however the exact start and finish times are extremely flexible. there is also flexibility to go to medical appointments and other short commitments during the day where required so long as you make up the time by starting earlier or finishing later.
My employer is pretty flexible, i work 95, but can be slightly earlier or later to suit your needs. sometimes i come in at 8:30 and leave at 4:30. some people come in at 9:30. some people come in at 7:30 so they can leave at 3:30. work is 40 hours a week. take breaks whenever you want. and if you have to work for longer hours for 1 week, you can work a bit less time the following week. e.g. if you had to fix something urgent and worked 50 hours in 1 week, you can work 30 hours the next week. at time of writing, the whole company is hybrid, 3 days on site 2 days remote. you cannot work fully remote. however, as someone new you will be expected to be fully onsite until you pass your probation (6 months), then you can start working hybrid. you get to choose what days you want to be from home and which days you want to be on site.
We are 5 days in the office as a grad sdr but they are flexible when you want to start and finish.
My employer is very flexible; after passing 6 months' probation you join the rest of the team in 3/2 working arrangements.
