I am currently in digital in the ManEx department. My day to day is working on a digital project - creating dashboards to visualize data coming through from the factory.
Everyday looks different. I do however have a lot of autonomy and trust to complete a range of tasks on my own, and make key decision on influence to the business. I work collaboratively with supply chain, marketing and customer teams to make sure we have product in the right paces, the right prices and correct positions.
Overall satisfied with the level of responsibility and accountability I hold; however tasks can be quite adhoc.
Currently in my sales rotation where I am either doing layouts and setting up builds at IGA stores, occasionally going into Coles and Woolworths trying to sale stuff to them. Or in Out of Home I am going to convenience stores trying to sell Ice Creams to stores who havent ordered in some time.
My role responsibilities include creating settings databases for machinery. Updating said settings. Attempting to improve faults or problems that impede production. These responsibilities are simultaneously spontaneous and immutable. You will always be doing some variation of settings improvement work but how you do it will be not always be the same as each challenge requires a different method to approach it.
