It can vary depending on the role you're put into and what's available. I've experienced both sides of getting the 'scraps' no one really wants to do, to undertaking big projects that have serious financial tethers to it.
The day-to-day tasks can be rather repetitive and mundane. However, this improves as your skillset and knowledge widens as you are able to take on more projects.
